Getting Started

We're delighted that you've chosen to get started with the Microsoft 365 SharePoint & Outlook integration for monday.com.

This page will give you an overview of this app’s functionality.

Prerequisites

Installation

  • Simply install the app from the monday.com marketplace and then you are ready to go.

Getting started with Microsoft 365

When you first install the app, the “Getting started with Microsoft 365” screen will be shown:

This will guide you through the first steps to connecting Microsoft 365 to monday.com. It links to relevant places in this documentation for creating workflows, automations & app views.

Microsoft 365 administrator consent

If you are not a Microsoft 365 administrator yourself, then you will need to find your Microsoft 365 administrator and get them to approve usage of the app.

Your Microsoft 365 administrator will then need to go through the steps on this page:

Usage

The app is separated into automations, workflows, and views.

Automations

There are many predefined automation recipe sentences available to use in the app to save you time and bring greater efficiency to your organisation.

Workflows

Workflows are currently only available on enterprise and pro plans

Views

There are currently 4 main features that are available for

  • board views

  • item views

  • dashboard & workdoc widgets

  • object views
