Automations
In the automation center, search for “Microsoft 365”:

If the app does not appear (as above) within 6 seconds, clear the form and search for “Microsoft 365” again.
Sometimes monday.com does not load all automations immediately.
Then click on the app “Microsoft 365” displayed and all automation recipes for this app will be displayed:

Having selected an automation, it can take monday.com up to 10 seconds to display the recipe sentence.
This is normal monday.com behaviour. You have to wait patiently for the recipe sentence to be displayed by monday.com.
Automation recipes
Our automation recipes are separated into the following categories:
Simple folder generation recipes
When a new item is created in monday.com, create a new folder in SharePoint.
These automation recipes allow users to create a new folder for their work activities and store all files and folders related to a monday.com item in a preconfigured location within SharePoint Online.
These automations are called by the following triggers
When an item is created in a board.
When the status of an item in a board changes to something.
When either of these triggers is called, a new folder will be created in SharePoint, in the designated location.

Templated folder generation recipes
Quickly builds folder and file structures based on your own folder and file templates.
These automation recipes allow users to create a consistent folder structure for their repeatable work activities and store all files and folders related to a monday.com item in a preconfigured location within SharePoint Online.
These automations are called by the following triggers
When an item is created in a board.
When the status of an item in a board changes to something.
When either of changes have been triggered, the app will copy the files in a SharePoint site from a source folder to a new folder under a target folder.
Templated document generation recipes
“Mail merge” for monday.com boards and items – builds documents based on your monday.com data.
These automations allow you to generate all your professional documents, invoices, quotes, legal agreements or any other type of file from your own templates.
These automations are called by the following triggers
When an item status is changed to a particular value.
When a button is pressed.

Move a SharePoint folder
When the status of an item changes to something, move the configured SharePoint folder for the item into a new location in the SharePoint site.
Rename a folder in SharePoint
When something happens, rename the configured SharePoint folder to a name populated from board items e.g. {Project Code} - {Item Name} - {Owner}

Excel import/export automations
"Every time period" import from Excel file hosted on SharePoint
This automation recipes allow users to import new items from an Excel file using a daily import (or other time frame based on the standard “every time period” trigger in monday.com) from the file hosted on SharePoint.

Every time period, or when a button is clicked, export board data to an Excel spreadsheet stored in SharePoint.
Export/sync files to Sharepoint
When an update is created, copy files from the update into the configured SharePoint folder for the item.

Keep your files up-to-date by syncing specific columns from monday.com to corresponding SharePoint folders.
