Migration of automation blocks to the workflow infrastructure
Background
monday.com is modernising their automation and workflow infrastructure.
On January 26, 2026, monday.com announced that third-party app developers would be required to migrate all sentence-based automations to their new infrastructure, and they then released tools to aid this migration.
They later set a deadline of April 30, 2026 for third-parties to complete the migration of all sentence-based automations to the new infrastructure.
Automations built on the old infrastructure will continue to work, but may not be edited after April 30, 2026.
There is no way for users to migrate their automations onto the new infrastructure, but the old automations will continue to work for the foreseeable future.
At some point in the future, monday.com users will need to recreate their automations from the old infrastructure on the new infrastructure. For further information on the migration path, please contact monday.com support.
Migration status
We are currently migrating all of our existing automation sentences into the new infrastructure, and expect to complete this by the April 30, 2026 deadline that monday.com have set.
Any automation blocks marked as NEW are only available in the new infrastructure for workflows and new automations.
We are concentrating on migrating the automation blocks first, before migrating any custom templated recipe sentences.
A table of the current status for each automation block is given below. Any block marked with a
has already been migrated to the new infrastructure.
As of April 5, 2026, 17 out of the 28 automation blocks in this app have been successfully migrated onto the new infrastructure, and are now also available for workflows.
