How does app pricing work?
Our subscription plans match your monday.com subscription in a one-to-one manner.
For example, most of our plans look something similar to the table below:
App Plan | No.of monday.com seats |
|---|---|
Couples | 1-2 |
Up to 5 seats | 3-5 |
Up to 10 seats | 6-10 |
Up to 20 seats | 11-20 |
Up to 50 seats | 21-50 |
Up to 100 seats | 51-100 |
Up to 200 seats | 101-200 |
Up to 400 seats | 201-400 |
Up to 600 seats | 401-600 |
Up to 800 seats | 601-800 |
More than 800 seats | 800+ |
So for these example number of seats/users:
4 seats of monday.com requires 4 seats of the app, which would be the Up to 5 seats plan
7 seats of monday.com requires 7 seats of the app, which would be the Up to 10 seats plan
25 seats of monday.com requires 25 seats of the app, which would be the Up to 50 seats plan
Just like in monday.com, when a feature is not available in your existing plan, you would need to purchase the next plan for all users of your subscription, our apps plans are for the whole of the monday.com subscription rather than just a subset of the users.
Why app seats match your monday.com seats
Our app pricing aligns with the total number of seats in your monday.com account. Even if only a few team members actively configure or manage automations, we feel that the benefits extend to the entire organisation.
Company‑wide impact from just a few builders
While not all of your users are likely to create automations or design workflows, the results improve efficiency for everyone:
Automations built by a few save time for all. Eliminating manual work reduces delays, errors, and repetitive tasks across every department.
Efficiency improvements scale across the whole organisation. When a power user streamlines a process, all teams benefit.
Better reporting, consistency, and workflow quality. Every user experiences the improvements, even if they never touch the automations directly.
Because the value is shared across the entire monday.com account, pricing is based on total seat count, not just the number of automation creators.
Unlimited usage with any plan
Since our pricing is seat‑based only, we do not limit automation usage.
This means:
An account on the “Up to 3 seats” plan can create unlimited automations.
They can generate tens of thousands of documents or run high‑volume workflows without restrictions.
In many cases, a small account may run more automations than a 2,000‑seat enterprise – and that’s completely fine.
There are no usage caps, no throttling, and no penalties for high automation activity.
A fair model that reflects real value
The time saved, manual work reduced, and processes streamlined benefit every monday.com user, not just the few who configure the automations.
That’s why pricing is tied to seat count – while giving you the freedom to automate as much as you need on every plan level, without concerns for running out of usage credits.
A major benefit of this approach is predictability. Usage‑based models can lead to fluctuating bills, but our plan stays at a fixed monthly rate, regardless of how heavily you use the app.
