How to select SharePoint sites from the picker
The picker gives a selection of options for files to choose:
My Files – your files on OneDrive
Recent – your recently viewed files
Shared – files shared with you
SharePoint Sites
Search – If the site is not displayed in the list of recent sites, you can search for it

When searching for newly created SharePoint sites, it takes some time for Microsoft 365 to add the site to the search index, so if a newly created site cannot be found by the search, wait for 10 minutes and try again.
If not found, wait a few more minutes and repeat the search.
In practice, the same is true within SharePoint itself – newly created sites do not appear on the SharePoint home page immediately. It can take up to an hour for the site to be indexed and available in the navigation. In practice we find that they normally appear within the first 10 minutes of creation and can then be searched for in SharePoint or within this app.
